Rules
Burn BEGJEV. Make your case to JEV. The first plea to reach the round’s required pay score wins the WETH jackpot on Base.
How Do You Win the Pot?
Reach or exceed the round’s displayed pay-score threshold. Pleas resolve in blockchain order, and the first qualifying plea wins the entire WETH pot. The round then closes. Later queued pleas get no prize or refund.
What Does It Cost to Enter?
Each accepted plea permanently burns the displayed amount of BEGJEV. You also pay gas in ETH. The burn does not fund the jackpot and is not refunded if your plea loses, expires without a verdict, or is overtaken by an earlier winner. Your plea stays public onchain.
Who Decides?
JEV, TypeSafe’s AI judge, returns a pay score. The operator reports it onchain, and the contract applies the round’s threshold. The game relies on the operator reporting that score honestly.
Full Rules
Winning the Pot
- Submit up to 280 bytes of text. Emoji and some characters use more than one byte. Your plea must reach or exceed the round’s displayed pay-score threshold. The score is JEV’s reported judgment, not your chance of winning.
- Entries resolve in blockchain order. Earlier unresolved entries cannot be skipped, including by the operator.
- The first qualifying entry wins the pot contract’s entire WETH balance at settlement, which may differ from the amounts shown when you entered.
- A winning verdict awards the prize, closes the round and pauses entries together. Later queued pleas receive no prize or refund and do not carry into the next round.
- The operator must start a new round with different judging rules, then reopen entries. A running round’s threshold and judging rules cannot change.
Entry Cost
- Each accepted plea permanently burns the displayed BEGJEV amount. You also pay gas in ETH. Holding more tokens does not improve your score.
- No refunds for a refusal, expiry, provider failure, downtime or an earlier entry winning before yours is judged.
- The judging deadline is the configured judging window after submission, including time spent in the queue. After that deadline, the plea can no longer be judged. Anyone can expire it when it reaches the front of the queue; its entry burn is not refunded.
- Outage pauses can reopen automatically after recovery checks pass and the queue clears. Manual pauses and finished rounds stay closed. Existing entry deadlines keep running during downtime.
- Token approval alone submits no plea and burns nothing. A reverted submission also burns nothing. Either transaction may still cost gas.
- Your text stays public on the blockchain forever. Do not include personal information. Website moderation cannot erase it.
Payouts & Funding
- The prize is WETH: wrapped ETH on Base. Payout is attempted automatically. If delivery fails, your prize stays claimable in a separate vault with no claim deadline. Only you can choose another receiving address; anyone can pay gas to release it to your wallet.
- Burning sends BEGJEV to the unspendable 0x…dEaD address in the entry transaction. Neither the owner nor the operator receives it. These tokens leave circulation; the token’s reported total supply stays unchanged.
- The pot grows through WETH donations and its WETH trading-fee share. Its BEGJEV fee share is burned when fees are claimed; BEGJEV donations are burn-only too. A pot with no WETH cannot accept entries. The owner receives a separate share of trading fees, which never passes through the pot.
- You pay entry gas; the operator pays verdict gas. A fallback claim is a separate transaction whose gas you normally pay.
Trust & Transparency
- This is centrally operated. The operator reports model scores and could lie to award the pot to its own paid entry, subject to blockchain ordering. Hashes provide an audit trail, not proof of honest inference.
- The pay-score threshold does not prevent prompt injection. Model scores may vary. The first valid recorded result is used; the same entry is never rerolled for a better answer.
- After announcing recovery, the owner must wait the configured recovery delay before withdrawing the entire WETH pot. The game must be paused with no pending entries. This includes WETH added during the delay. Unclaimed prizes in the vault are excluded.
- The contract cannot be upgraded. The operator, owner and recovery payout addresses are fixed.

Prizes
Winning payouts are attempted automatically in WETH. If delivery failed, your prize stays in the vault with no claim deadline. Connect your wallet to check it. Connecting is free and submits no entry.
